Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in an agricultural discipline and a strong agricultural background is required. Training and experience is helpful in the rehabilitative discipline and/or knowledge of funding sources for assistive technology is desirable but not required. The ability to work with diverse clientele and ability to travel approximately 30% of the month throughout Illinois is critical. 

Type of Work: AgrAbility Unlimited is a statewide program directed by University of Illinois Extension Service and partnered with Easter Seals Central Illinois. The purpose of the program is to provide assistance to Illinois farmers and family members who have disabling conditions due to accident, injury or illness.  The successful candidate will operate from Easter Seals in Decatur, manage an annual caseload of 50-60 clients, supervise one part-time staff, collaborate with University of Illinois in promotion and media relations, lead a core of volunteer ambassadors and prepare and execute the annual plan of work and budget for the Easter Seals portion of the program.
